Directed net for the purposes of providing timely information and announcements pertaining to Chester County ARES/RACES and to regularly verify radio circuits among CCAR members and between locations identified in the CCAR emergency plan. However, we encourage all licensed stations to check in and participate.


CCAR operates this net on the following repeaters with active links:

W3EOC Linked UHF System on 446.525 in West Chester, 446.175 in Northern Chester County, and 448.875 in Southern Chester County. All have minus inputs and PL of 100.

Directed net for the purposes of a training drill under the authority of the Federal Communications Commission and the Pennsylvania Director of Emergency Management.

You do not have to be a member of Montgomery Co., PA. ARES/RACES (MCAR) or live in Montgomery County to check in.

Simultaneous nets are operating on multiple bands. The 2M net is the Net Control band. Echolink is connected to the 2M primary operating frequency. Echolink check-ins will be called for, and accepted during a specific segment of the net.
